About the role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our growing team at The Code Mantra. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for websites, web applications, and mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements, transform ideas into user-friendly designs, and deliver high-quality digital experiences. This is a full-time remote opportunity for someone passionate about design, usability, and creating meaningful user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Develop responsive designs that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Translate client requirements and business objectives into effective design solutions.
- Conduct basic user research and usability testing to improve user experience.
- Create and maintain consistent design systems, components, and style guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Work with clients to understand requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Prepare design assets and specifications for development handoff.
- Review implemented designs and suggest improvements to usability and visual consistency.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong understanding of user interface design and user experience principles.
- Proficiency in Figma for creating designs, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Good understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, spacing, layouts, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create intuitive user flows and user-friendly interfaces.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, and basic interaction design principles.
- Ability to understand project requirements and translate them into design solutions.
- Good communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team.
Good to have
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or other design tools.
- Experience designing dashboards and admin panels.
- Knowledge of design systems, reusable components, and UI consistency.
- Experience creating interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Trello or similar project management platforms.
- Experience working on client projects in an Agile environment.
